FAQ
WHO ARE WE
We are POCO POCO. And we make locally sourced, socially up-cycled kidswear. “Bai Poco Poco” means “Go Slowly Slowly” in Papiamento (a wonderfully expressive Caribbean language). We come from a curiously combined background of research, fashion and tech. And we think that by slowing down sometimes, we can do things a little differently and maybe also a little bit better.
WHERE DO OUR SHIRTS COME FROM
We source locally from certified second hand agents and shops — spending time carefully thrifting the right items.
ARE THE SHIRTS CLEAN
Yes, all of our fabrics are carefully washed on a hot cycle to prevent shrinking after you wash it at home. Oh. And we use only non-chemical detergents and wash only full loads.
WHO DO WE MANUFACTURE WITH
We work with a small local atelier in Amsterdam that offers refugees an opportunity to build up a life. As we grow we make sure all our partners work in socially responsible ways. It’s very important to us.
CAN I ORDER MORE THAN ONE
Of course! Please do! Just never the exact same one twice because every single one of our items is totally unique.
WHAT ARE THE SIZES OF THE PLAYSUITS?
You’ll find playsuits here for those little rascals running or crawling around. From 6 months to 2 years, we’ll have something for everybody. And we make them all a little bit big so you can buy them early on and they can wear them extra long.
ARE YOU LOOKING FOR COLLABORATIONS
YES! We are always looking to make new friends. Mostly because that’s how we learn new things, stay inspired and grow. So if you want to get together over some milk and cookies and discuss how we might collaborate, we would love to hear from you. Yes you! Other brands, circular initiatives or anything else. We here!
